Management Team
With over 25 years of credit union experience, Robin has been at the helm of Cabrillo since 1979. Under Robin's leadership, the credit union has grown from $6 million in assets to over $166 million, and has received numerous marketing awards from local, regional and national credit union organizations, including the prestigious Credit Union of the Year in 1998 by the National Association of Federal Credit Unions. Robin has converted the credit union's federal charter to that of a state charter. She has also acted as the chairman of the Public Relations Committee of the San Diego CEO Association and is a member of the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES). She has twice served as the president of the San Diego Chapter of the Board of Governors and is also the past president of the San Diego CEO Association. Ms. Lentz sits on the Board of WesCorp and recently received the Eternal Flame Award from the California Credit Union League. Robin is also very active in the community by serving as a mentor to students at Thurgood Marshall Middle School and participating in the Credit Unions For Kids program benefiting San Diego's Children's Hospital.
