Reminder! Your Property Tax Is Due February 1, 2010.
The good news is that you have until April 10, 2010, to pay it. The bad news is that you have to pay it. This gives you approximately two months to scrape together the cash. If you find yourself always scrambling to make your property tax payment, perhaps you should set up a savings account with direct deposit or have the money automatically transferred into this account each pay period. You can even set up this transfer in eBranch. This is a great way to plan ahead.
For example:
Property taxes are due February 1 and November 1. (twice a year)
You owe: $1,200 each time (total tax bill is $2,400)
You get paid twice a month (24 a year)
Your transfer/deposit into savings account each pay check is $100.
To open a savings account today, log into eBranch and simply select “Open New Accounts” from the left-side menu and you are on your way.
